About us
The diverse paths we have traveled have interwoven to lead us here. We are a young couple in whom the roots of Japan and Brazil converge. Driven by curiosity, we journeyed through different countries, gathering invaluable lessons across languages, arts, and crafts. Today, we feel the longing to put down roots in a place that resonates with our essence, allowing us to expand and share our journey. It is from here, in the heart of Japan, that we have begun to breathe life into pieces that embody our spirit. Thus, our project was born, guided by the essence of 寂, a concept deeply rooted in the wabisabi aesthetic, evoking the serenity found in the passage of time and the quiet beauty of the austere.
At Jaku Studio, we dedicate ourselves to crafting furniture and everyday objects in our own workshop. We are intimately involved in every single step of the process: from the meticulous preparation and cleansing of the materials whether rescuing antique kimonos to give them a new life or selecting noble woods for their ability to age with dignity to the final design and creation. As we grow, it is our clear intention to continue expanding our catalog, offering new ways to weave nature into the home.

Our vision is to create functional pieces for daily life that transcend mere decoration, becoming a profound tactile and visual experience. We design objects that invite stillness; creations that, through observation and the space they cultivate around them, awaken the senses and allow you to reclaim that moment of pause and reconnection so rare in today’s world. These are pieces made not merely to be used, but to be lived with in the gentle quietude of the everyday.
For those seeking to extend this harmony into their own environments, we offer interior design services for both residential and commercial projects. The next step in Jaku Studio’s journey is the consolidation of our physical space: a sanctuary designed to house our international art gallery and Japanese tea service. This space will be the culmination of our vision a place where visitors can see, touch, and feel the nobility of each piece, awakening their senses in an experience of profound calm, where matter finally surrenders to the rhythm of the earth.
